A meditation:

The human is the only specie not bound to biology. If this is a true statement why is it that we depend on our condition to keep our brain a hostage and cause so much suffering? Since we are not bound to our biology because of our brain, is it possible to dramatically change the very structure of our brain independent from our condition? Is it possible to free ourselves from our primitive stage of Thought?

Rebate is psychological and little impact on the economy.

A $150 billion tax break is a brief stimulus for the economy in recession, however, the problem is much larger and only a few understand the seriousness of the state of the nation. A large part of the stimulus is psychological and since monies are borrowed the plan is contrary to what we have to do. Overspending, borrowing , tax on inflation, and discouraging people to run the economy are issues that need serious attention. Improving  fiscal, monetary, and foreign policy is a good start to mitigate a serious recession. No country can print money out of thin air without any backing and expect business as usual without a middle class. The constitution  manipulated are indicators of a *struggled democracy lost and once lost we have to start from scratch and find out the meaning of democracy.  Is that possible?

*stuggled democracy: To think we have a democracy is untrue. The little bit of democracy we do have is being chipped away bit by bit. The media propaganda distorts a true perception of democracy and paints a picture of  a masked democracy.  The only solution is to examine, negate, and find the dominant elite irresponsible of their perception that our country should be ruled by a few considered fit.

******************************

Confidence:

The country  is heading towards  socialism and  humanitarian efforts for the common good. Unfortunately, socialism does not restore confidence and trust in people.  The belief of humanitarian efforts for the common good are concepts misunderstood. Humanitarian efforts are people leading government; not  government leading  people. People are competent, however, since this is not permitted the only way for restoration is the individual  freeing his or her mind of boundaries and illusions. If you want "good government" the "mind" must be "good". So, confidence starts with the "individual" because government does not have the capacity to be "just".  The only "good government" is a "good mind", a person what government is not. That is real revolution.

NEGATE:
A good mind negates; whereby the mind  mutates being psychological alone. Being psychologically alone is not to be alone. On the contrary to negate
social, political, religious, and self imposed conformity are acts  responsible and highly intelligent. The mind is conditioned to belief that psychological security is based on conformity. To  free onself from false  security  is to be totally responsible and  negate the root of disorder which is false security and  transform a state of mind reproduced to a mind authentic.  This mind rest alone and yet is one with humanity.

Food for thought:  What will you do with your rebate? Save, spent on products made in America, or spent on products made from countries which the monies are  borrowed from?

*********************************
a meditation

Democracy:

Humanitarian effort is very limited government where people are independent and government respect the constitution and not manipulate and abuse the power of his or her office.  Big government control   manipulates  individuals into a mold  surreptitiously believing those efforts are humanitarian and out of goodwill.

Responsibility

The problem is responsibility. What is it to be responsible?  We do not feel responsible  because the people in positions politically are responsible. Those people are delegated to be responsible and assume political power.   That is the general attitude. One does not have to responsible; therefore making irresponsibility acceptable. How can the mind negate if the action is routine and conditioned? To respond to others is the "me" which is related to the "past" is a refusal to be responsible. The "I" which is the present is attentive and alert negating the errors of the mind.  Responsibility means total commitment to the challenge in negation and pertaining to politics to negate is to  be responsible and not hold any politian responsibile. Society does not have the competence to change and  salvation rest with the individual to negate boundaries imposed. In other words: The individual changes society; society cannot change but reinforce conformity. You have to be a light to yourself  and not to authority who claim the light. Once you assume responsibility the mind begins the journey of negating, that is, shedding false belief and faith very attentively questioning and examining every detail as if the mind is in an crisis. The world is a chaos and as a human being who has created this mess is responsible. The world is me and I am the world. Not intellectual but as an fact. The problem I observe is our lack of negation and not seeing the mind divided.  The world is in a crisis because the mind is in a crises. To transform the world we must transform the  mind and negate boundaries politically, socially, religiously, and personally. This off course takes tremendous energy and the maturity to be totally responsibile and be a light to oneself.

a meditation

   The challenge of change:

Listening carefully to the candidates each promise "change". Is that possible? The challenge to "change" is an inward movement that can only change society outwardly. Hoping for "change" by a presidential candidate is avoiding responsibility in a psychological revolution. A revolt internally not accepting anything (promises) but taking responsibility through  meditation
that to change the world one must change first. Depending on belief, theories, and promises from others are ideas doom to failure. A psychological revolution is the only  real challenge; being free and not dependent on
anybody psychologically.  To be free from conflict is to bring order in the mind; only a mutated  brain can change society and the condition of society. It is the responsibility for each  human to transform the fragments of the brain into a mind whole. You and the World are One. A political promise is a candle lit, but why settle for a candle lit if the mind can capture the Sun through the action of the insight burning bad faith which has prevented the mind to grow and be in need for others to control.

************************************************
"I am a lover of Truth. I examine, inquire, and negate conformity for Truth to approach. Truth cannot approach a mind conformed, a product of society, and a mind reproduced. Meditation is the only tool for the mind to negate and this endless journey is Truth free from conclusions and destinations". Deanna

"Tradition presses for conformity; truth cries out for revolt.  Not only must the mind revolt against the patterns within society, but it must also revolt against all of society itself.  For example:  The mind is like a prisoner who can revolt to demand improved conditions within the prison and still be a prisoner, or revolt to escape from the prison itself. It is only outside the walls of society’s prison that genuine freedom can be found." Deanna

In Meditation: A few thoughts

Conflict: Government and the population.

The rich and privileged are no more willing to face market discipline than they have been in the past, though they consider it just fine for the general population. Because of greed eighty percent of the  population regard the economic system as inherently unfair and the political system as a fraud, which serves the special interest, not the people. Such is the state of the economy and the psychological state of the nation.

******************

Conflict::  Seeking power and alienation. (the candidate and voter)

Once the contest is confirmed and conquest achieved  the presence of the voter becomes a meddlesome outsider. The voter's opinion void and voice silenced. Thus, the voter transforms into a spectator and must cease to be an participant in action.  So, the way the system works is that every four years you are permitted to vote for one of the candidates. You can vote for them, but then after that, what happens is none of your business.

What I find more disturbing is narrow sectors of power and privilege are devoting intensive efforts to marginalize the public so as to facilitate policies designed to benefit their own interests, whatever the cost -- often severe -- to the general population and future generations. One must educate and negate such efforts to the general population and future generations.

County should bow out

Responding to the recent articles, "County gets ready for same-sex weddings" (June 5) and "County reacts to gay ruling" (June 10).

The county government boasts it takes about 30 percent of the wedding market and plans to take more away from the free-enterprise system.

That amounts to taking opportunities away from the wedding industry - once a $40 ceremony is performed and sealed with a kiss, the initiative for the couple to do anything else stops.

"Still, with many churches unwilling to perform gay marriages, county governments may be the preferred conductor and host for gay couples seeking marriage across the state," the June 10 story reports.

Humanitarian efforts are the county's justification to the taking. But it is the people's job to be a host, not government! Scan the Internet and there are many businesses ready to host weddings for gay or straight couples - the money is green for all.

Such humanitarian efforts are wasteful and contrary to the common good.

Auditor-Controller/Recorder and County Clerk Larry Walker, whose talents are in economics, needs to sharpen his pencil and check his math.

The county earned $160,000 from 4,000 weddings performed. How much loss does the wedding industry suffer after 4,000 weddings are taken away by the government each year?

Any economist can do the math and conclude the county should stay out of the wedding business and only issue marriage licenses.

LARRY WALKER AND THE WEDDING INDUSTRY.

update: I hired a economist who has excellent creditability and credentials to provide evidence of the impact Larry Walker makes in taking one third of the weddings from the free market place. Once I have the full report I plan to provide the board of supervisors with the facts and each city in the county of San Bernardino. Also, the report will be published on the website and made public.  Mr. Walker would be impressed with the report since he successfully completed a certified public accountant exam and an accountant course at a local university.  Walker is a man of talent with facts and figures from R.E to CPA. It is time for Walker to sharpen his pencil and re-work his math to benefit the people in the wedding industry.

                     LARRY WALKER BOAST OF SUCCESS.

"Surely, the state of the economy is in the conduct of government doing business which consequently shall meet its own fate; a manifest destiny of near bankruptcy." Deanna

GOVERNMENT IS TAKING (about)  30% OF THE MARKET AS THEY BOAST TO TAKE MORE FROM THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.

"The county has performed 4000 ceremonies annually in recent years." Walker says. Four thousand opportunities taken from the wedding and reception industry which may include professional photographers, videographers, and etc. Think! Does the taking affect you?

"Still, with many churches unwilling to perform gay marriages, county governments may be the preferred conductor and host for gay couples seeking marriage across the state." Walker told Rogers.

Humanitarian efforts to be a Savior is Walker's justification to the taking. Walker is incorrect to assume that the County may be the preferred conductor and host for gay couples.  Scan the internet and there are many business ready to go to be the conductor and host weddings for gay or straight couples. The color of money is green regardless of gay or straight. Walker's vision is short sighted and psychologically he is need to be a Savior. Saviors cause harm; such Humanitarian efforts are wasteful and contrary to the common good. Humanitarian effort is Government abuse justifying the taking for the common good. Such is the error of the Mind.

update:  06/05/2008 San Bernardino County Sun.

According to the Sun newspaper reporter Robert Rogers the County/Auditor/Controller-Recorder Larry Walker, whose office issue marriage licenses in the county performs about  30% of the ceremonies.

   Friends:

As we witness Government is taking 30% of our employment opportunities which includes everything from A-Z in the wedding, reception, and honeymoon industries.
What is your opinion pertaining to the taking of our jobs? Should a Government participate  in the free market enterprise? How can an average citizen compete with the County?

Now, the County is performing renewals of the vows to increase their income. Renewals of vows? I reject Government participating in the market place which takes jobs from the population. The people should lead Government not Government leading and from their leadership take jobs and opportunities. The outcome of  mismanagement  is a decline in trust and consequently a defeat in making sufficient income to meet expenses. The more Government takes the less the citizen has; and as time progress the citizen goes financially and psychologically  bankrupt and eventually the Government will suffer the same fate.

SUN NEWS ARTICLE BY ROBERT ROGERS ON JUNE 10, 2008.

Tying the knot will require some couples to travel hundreds of miles beginning June 17, when the largest county in the lower 48 scales down to one spot to exchange vows.

San Bernardino County Auditor/Controller-Recorder Larry Walker said priority No. 1 on the historic day when marriage is opened to same-sex couples is that nothing goes wrong.

"We're acting in preventive mode," said Walker, who announced Monday that he's made the call to reduce from three to one on June 17 the number of places countywide that his office will perform marriages. "Questions may arise and management support may be needed, but I want to have a successful day next week where everyone who comes in has a smooth experience that goes off without any problem at all."

All county-performed marriage ceremonies will be conducted at the Hall of Records at 222 W. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino, effective June 17 and continuing indefinitely, Walker said.

Satellite offices located in libraries in Montclair and Apple Valley will continue to issue marriage certificates, but discontinue performing any marriage ceremonies until training, staffing and technical resources are brought to satisfactory levels, Walker said.

It is not yet clear how sweeping an impact centralizing marriages will have. Walker noted that about 90 percent of marriages are performed at the central location already, which may indicate that the impact could be minimal.

of knowledge about what's going to happen" on June 17, Walker said.

Still, with many churches unwilling to perform gay marriages, county governments may be the preferred conductor and host for gay couples seeking marriage across the state. A staff member at the county library in Apple Valley said Monday that a handful of calls had come in inquiring about same-sex marriage services, and callers were surprised when told they'd have to go to San Bernardino.

A state Supreme Court ruling last month paved the way for same-sex couples to be married beginning June 17, making California just the second state after Massachusetts to sanction the unions. Anti-gay marriage groups have succeeded in getting a proposed constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage onto the November ballot.

The county has performed about 4,000 marriages annually in recent years, more than one-third of all licensed marriages, Walker said. Valentine's Day is typically the busiest, with as many as 100 ceremonies conducted.

Walker said he's consolidating his resources at the Hall of Records and is ready to handle whatever comes his way on the unprecedented day.

"The numbers could explode or nobody could show up," Walker said. "But we'll be ready for a volume exceeding the biggest days of a normal year."

Walker conceded that security concerns were also a factor which, combined with technical challenges, employee training, and a need to have top administration close to lower-level staff, persuaded him to consolidate his operations at his home base.

"Very few decisions I make get unanimous approval," Walker said. "Every person who wants to get married will be coming to the Hall of Records. That's the choice we've made to make sure this transition is smooth."

Dear Friends:

Are you in the wedding, reception, and honeymoon industry and wonder why business changed since the hall of records took over?  If you  work the wedding industry I like to hear from you. County weddings are taking jobs, opportunities, and future growth from us. Interested in challenging the wrong doing of a government who offer services benefiting themselves opposed to the greater good? Write and together we fight for liberties lost and have a government by the people and for the people.

Sincerely,

Deanna

SHOULD GOV. DO WEDDINGS, PHOTOS, AND VIDEOS?

     SHOULD COUNTY GOVERNMENT COMPETE?

SHOULD PEOPLE OR GOVERNMENT RUN THE ECONOMY?

The Government must Free up the Market and Check the Monetary
System. People are to be free to run the economy not Government.

 Betrayed by a kiss:
Once a wedding ceremony has been  performed the magic is gone and
the couple's initiative cease to do anything else to benefit the wedding industry.  Calculating county's interference retail and wholesale lose millions  in sales and  government thousands in tax revenue.  The  county capitalize from couples in love and seals it with a kiss for $40.00. The  potential of retail and whole sale vanish and confidence from those folks in business are betrayed by a  kiss.

This unfair competition cost businesses because the energy of love is the magic potion which boost favorable conditions creating a buzz of excitement and opportunity for the couple and merchant. Just imagine the opportunity a retail and wholesale merchant may have without interference from government.

A lucrative uncalculated business:
The hall of records find weddings lucrative, however, uncalculated because of mediocre profits compared to thousands of dollars lost in tax revenue  from retail and wholesale sales. The industry is not limited to church, chapel, or clergy but to every business. When the hall of records officates a marriage it is most likely the couple's  initiative cease to do anything else. The magic and the buzz is gone! This cause great injury to every business in the wedding industry.  The hall of records claim their marriages are "civil", however, ninety five percent of the couples are folks bound to some  religion.  The competition is unfair because the county has the upper hand since  the first stop for the couple is a marriage license. The couple purchase a  license and the clerk offers a chapel, photos, videos  competing for business. Once a county marriage is performed for $40  the magic is gone as well as unlimited opportunities for retail and wholesale businesses and thousands of dollars lost in  tax revenue. The government is short sighted and fail to see the humanitarian effors are miscalculated mediocre profits based on a need to raise revenue for the county. This unwise enterprise is at the cost of businesses and thousands of dollars lost in  tax revenue; not to mention an unfavorable point of view.

THE POISON OF GOVERNMENT TAKING JOBS

The overall effect of business opportunities.
Once the ceremony is performed opportunities cease.

Loss of thousands of dollars in tax revenue =  a $40 county wedding.
The following are business who lose because of uncalculated greed.
  • dress shops: bridal gowns, bride maids dresses, groom's attire
  • beauty treatment for the bride, her court, and family members
  • hairstylist, nail specialist, and make up artist
  • flowers for the bride, her court, and family members
  • chapel, church, or any other site: yacht, club, etc.
  • decorations in the facility: flowers, baskets, etc.
  •  person plays for the wedding: pianest, organist, singer
  • wedding planners, decorators, consultants, host, hostess
  • photographers, videographers, and professional studios
  • limousine: limo, chaffeur, gas, insurance, etc.
  • caterers, hostess, servers, food, utensils,
  • table cloths, runners, chair cover, sashes, decoration
  • decorators, seamstress, sewing businesses, etc.

                                 Government Boost Socialism

" I am a lover of Truth and fight for very limited Government. Humanitarian effort of big Government is poison like heroin to an addict. Socialism injects heroin daily until the addict is totally submissive and dependent to be a good servant to the Government." Deanna

The Government boast and uncalculated greed takes a toll on the wedding industry. The wedding, reception, and honeymoon industry lose  opportunities the moment government seize and seal the couple's initiative with a kiss.

Los Vegas  businessess earn  huge  profits from weddings, receptions, and the couple's honeymoon. Government does not interfere in Nevada. San Bernardino Hall of Records boast of thirty weddings at $40 each totalling $1200. The loss of sales tax revenue from thirty weddings exceed one hundred fold from profits earned by county weddings. Just image, thirty weddings can earn a handsome profit  in sales tax revenue. A economic stimulus for businesses is essential during a time of recession, however, independent from recession the government should not interfere with the taxpayer. Economically interference does not benefit government and the taxpayer.

The following is an article by the San Bernardino Sun 02/14/2008. The Sun serves the interest of the Government and those in power. My position is very clear: I reject socialism because it mitigates the ability to think, innovate, create, and compete. The taxpayer's responsibility is to exploit resources to benefit and support the government's capacity to govern. Defend democracy and see the evil of control chipping our freedom bit by bit. Democracy is almost lost. Why not protect democracy now or are we blind that one day after much suffering we have to start democracy from scratch?

The following is a article from the San Bernardino Sun: 02/15/2008

By Lauren McSherry, Staff Writer

It's fast. It's simple. And at $113, the cost of a ceremony is hard to beat.

Those were a few of the reasons that brought betrothed couples Thursday morning to the San Bernardino County Hall of Records in San Bernardino.

Most of the couples filling out the forms for marriage certificates, however, shared the same goal. They wanted to be wed on Valentine's Day.

Dressed in a black judicial gown, Diane Martinez, deputy commissioner of civil marriage, ushered each couple through a plain gray door into the agency's modern wedding chapel, complete with rows of white-leather pews and a wooden podium behind which Martinez regularly presides.

Feb. 14 is the busiest day of the year for the Hall of Records. Martinez estimated 30 couples would be wed on Thursday. Typically, four couples are married each day, she said.

"We don't turn anybody away on Valentine's Day," she said. "Next to having a child, this is the biggest day of their life. It's very special."

Even after 15 years of performing ceremonies, Martinez sometimes wipes away a tear or two as she leads a couple through their marriage vows.

Such was the situation as she married Victoria Vasquez, 22, and Andy DuChateau, 24, both of Running Springs. Eight months pregnant, Vasquez wore high heels despite her swollen ankles. She had selected a black wedding gown, hoping it would make her appear slimmer.

"I brought backup makeup," said Martinez, wiping away a tear

after the ceremony. "Sometimes I cry more than the bride and groom."

Ernesto Virgen, 25, and Priscilla Martinez, 24, both of San Bernardino, decided Valentine's Day would be perfect for an impromptu, informal wedding.

Virgen said he also liked the idea of having their anniversary coincide with Valentine's Day.

"You kill two birds with one stone," he said.

Although Martinez was suffering from a case of the jitters, in less than five minutes the couple had recited their vows, and the ceremony was over.

Minutes later, David McDaniel, 46, and Pamela Lentz, 44, both of Yucaipa, were next. McDaniel approached window No. 5, where he presented his identification and paid the requisite $73 for the marriage license and $40 for the ceremony while his wife-to-be waited in the hallway, clasping the train of her white silk wedding gown.

Their celebration plans were low key: breakfast immediately after the ceremony and a honeymoon sometime in July.

"Short, sweet. That's how we like it," McDaniel said.

Although they attended high school together, their romance was not kindled for 25 years. Four years ago on Valentine's Day, the two went on their first date at a restaurant in Yucaipa and fell in love.

Inside the chapel, Lentz turned to face McDaniel. They recited their vows and exchanged rings. Then it was time for the words they had been longing to hear.

"I now pronounce you to be husband and wife," Martinez told them. "David, you may now kiss the bride."

CORPORATE MEDIA

"One must negate the psychology of corporate media and inquire
how the media is designed to manage the mind in "thought" to
benefit special interest and silence the voice of democracy. The first amendment was written for the individual (flesh and blood) not for a Corporation (entity). A  Corporation does not have a conscious or
possess compassion but a will and an obligation to profit at any cost.
A Corporation possess "artificial intelligence" opposed to a human's
capacity to "love", the highest intelligence of a human being. The psychology of  a Corporation is to make believe the effort is humanitarian. Not true! The effort is profit using good will as a disguise.

The evolution of 150 years has created a artificial monster which virtually controls the mind set of society. A Corporation is a legal person but what kind of person is a cooperation. Does a Corporation have a moral conscious?  The only purpose a Corporation has is making a profit. The Corporation is only interested in the "agenda" and creating great wealth often causes hidden harms.  The only motivation is "profit" and is there such thing "as enough."  How much is enough?  The specific decision of "profit making" is independent from the "laws of nature" because in nature  Cooperation between members of a society are essential. It is up to the individual to inquire, examine, and negate the psychology of the Corporation in the twenty first century. The awareness of perception and deceptive management selling and branding the image.
A chill wind is blown in this nation; an entity ruled by a oligarchy managing skillfully  freedom of speech into an anti-democratic force ." Deanna

The Media:

The problem I observe is free speech belongs to a citizen, a person not an entity.  Commerical free speech has been added along the way and corportions are casted as people distorting the original meaning of the first admendment, a part of the constitution, to silence the voice of democracy. A Corporation is not a person of flesh and blood like you and I.

The first amendment  forbids Congress from interfering with a citizen's freedom of religion, speech, assembly, and petition. How can a Corporation qualify as a citizen and how can a Corporation compete in free speech and  have equal platform as an citizen? The first amendment is warped and anti-democratic silencing the citizen to benefit a partnership between the media corporate and political power.

The author find Corporations are not responsible or accountable to the people but to those of financial and political power. I also find a pattern in the media that it is easier for the media to manipulate news. In other words the media is used to accepting the spin to control.  We have more access to information but  we are less informed; a system of ostensible diversity to conceal the Truth. So, news is no longer reported but managed and has become an anti-democratic force.

Observing Hitler's  media one must conclude intelligently that the  regime was well managed and the Nazi power derived from healthy media propaganda.  Meditating on this issue how did our  journalism and the journalist get this way from reporting to managing news in such a short time?

                                             BETRAYED BY A KISS

The county is heading towards socialism and humanitarian efforts for the common good. Unfortunately, socialism does not restore confidence and trust. The belief of humanitarian efforts for the common good are concepts misunderstood. Humanitarian efforts are people leading government not government leading people.
A classic example of socialism are county weddings. Addressing the Sun (02/15/08 short and sweet) the hall of records find weddings lucrative but miscalculated because of mediocre profits contrast to thousands of dollors lost in tax revenue from retail and wholesale merchants. When a county wedding is officiated it is most likely the couple's initiative cease to do anything else. The county capitalize from couples in love and seals it with a kiss for $40.00 and boast huge success but fail to realize how deterimental county weddings ae to retail and wholesale businesses. The opportunity  vanish and confidence from those folks are betrayed by a kiss. This unfair competition cost a business becaue the energy of love is the magic potion which boost favorable conditions creating a buzz of excitement and opportunity for the couple and merchant. Competition is equally unfair because the county has the upper hand since the first stop for the couple is a marriage license. The
couple purchase a license and the clerk offers a complete package of a chapel, photo, and video competing for business. Once a county marriage is performed for $40.00 the magic is gone as well as unlimited opportunities.
The Sun's article point out thirty weddings on Valentine's day and four weddings each day at San Bernardino Hall of Records wedding chapel; adding the numbers for fifteen years the loss of revenue for businesses run in the millions.
Los Vegas  businesses earn huge profits from weddings, receptions, and the couple's honeymoon. The wedding business in Los Vegas boost the economy and energizes every other activity in the City.
The County uncalculated greed takes toll on the wedding industry for mediocre profits. Just image thirty weddings can earn a handsome profit in sales tax revenue. Economic stimulus for businesses are essential during a time of recession, however, independent from recession the government should not interfere. The county is short sighted and fail to observe humanitarian efforts are miscalculated and greed based on need to raise revenue.
We do not feel responsible because the people in positions politically are responsible. Those people are delegated to be responsible  and assume political power. One does not have to be responsible; therefore making irresponsibility acceptable. Government responsibility is maintaining records, documents, marriage licenses, and meddling in weddings, photos, and videos. The taxpayer's responsibility is to exploit resources to benefit and support government's capacity to govern. Socialism mitigates the ability to think, innovate, create, and compete. Humanitarian effort misplaced is democracy lost; unless we negate socialism it is most likely that we have to start democracy from scratch.

Unfair competition

The country is heading toward socialism and humanitarian efforts for the common good.

Unfortunately, socialism does not restore confidence and trust. Humanitarian efforts should be people leading government, not government leading people.

County weddings are a classic example of socialism.

The Sun's Valentine's Day story, "Marriage vows: Short and sweet," Feb. 15, shows that weddings are an inexpensive and a lucrative business for the San Bernardino County Hall of Records, but leaves uncalculated the thousands of dollars in lost tax and retail revenue from wedding merchants.

The county capitalizes on couples in love and seals it with a kiss for $40. The county boasts huge success but fails to realize how detrimental county weddings are to retail and wholesale businesses. The opportunity vanishes for merchants.

The competition is also unfair because the county has the upper hand, since the first stop for the couple is a marriage license. The couple purchases a license and the clerk offers a complete package of a chapel, photo, and video, competing for business. Once a county marriage is performed for $40, the magic is gone as well as unlimited opportunities.

There are about 30 weddings on Valentine's Day and four weddings each day at the San Bernardino Hall of Records wedding chapel; over 15 years, the loss of revenue for businesses runs in the millions.

The county could make more from sales tax revenue on weddings than by conducting them itself.

Government responsibility is maintaining records, documents and marriage licenses, not meddling in weddings, photos and videos. The taxpayer's responsibility is to exploit resources to benefit and support government's capacity to govern.

Socialism mitigates the ability to think, innovate, create and compete. Humanitarian effort misplaced is democracy lost; unless we negate socialism it is most likely that we have to start democracy from scratch.

ARGUMENT:

SHOULD GOVERNMENT COMPETE?

Government and Competition.

The argument: Should Government be in competition with those he or she governs? Is competition governing or governing competition?

"To belief  competition is moral and  good for humanitarian efforts, that is, to benefit the whole  are beliefs misunderstood and errors of the Mind.  Such efforts are worthless and fails the common good." Deanna

The role of the government is not to compete  but to govern and have qualities of genuine  confidence.  Such qualities cannot be earned if the government is in competition  and have conflict of interest with those he or she governs. To be in conflict demonstrates a fearful and a weak government who no longer is a friend but a foe. Competing governments consequently are subject to  protest because one of the struggles of humanity is to exercise pursuit of happiness and liberty.

The error of the mind of a  government  who competes are beliefs that such acts of competition  are of a  humanitarian nature which benefits the whole.  On the contrary, to compete is to become weak because  people are in submission to the cause which the government finds good.  The nature of submission is taking the initiative and creativity from the citizen who finds competition against the government overwhelming.

Dear Friends:

Call your County and inquire if they are in the wedding business?

I would like to hear from anyone who works in the  wedding, reception, honeymoon, and photography business.

What is your opinion?

What is your point of view for the county offering weddings, photos, and video's?

Once the ceremony is performed do you agree or disagree that most likely the couple has no initiative to do anything else and opportunities to exploit are minimized?

If the County like Los Vegas only issue licenses and not do weddings
how would that effect the overall wedding  industry and you?

Do you think County's weddings boost socialism and mitigate the free market?

Share with me and e-mail your opinion; our dialogue is in absolute confidence.

Thank you. Deanna
